This increase in time spent on social media has been shown to negatively impact the mental health of all of us and especially the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth community, leading to an increased risk of developing eating disorders and health problems. Life has changed for all of us since the pandemic and we are now adapting to a world where online meetings, socializing and relaxing all involve online screen time.
